Nautical colours

The card base is a lovely textured navy from Antalis. I used three mats - white, dark red and another white. The silver background was made by sticking aluminium foil to cardstock before embossing with Spellbinders M-bossibilities bricks and bark  from my South African supplier. The ship was stamped in archival black.

Sailing ship

First I matted turquoise cardstock on a very light cream card base. That was followed with a layer which was stamped with a selection of stamps from Clearly impressed nautical. The stamped background was then embossed with Spellbinders M-Bossibilities garden lattice. Lightly sponged with Ranger ink in denim and rust. I love the 'rope' image for this nautical theme. The ship is from the same nautical stamp set.

Butterfly gift box

Made the box using 300g curious metal silver ice cardstock. The top was embossed with Spellbinders A4 M-Bossibilities garden lattice. The round element is Spellbinders Parisian motifs and the label Spellbinders Fancy tags two. Butterfly from Simply-2-die-4 from which I buy my Spellbinders dies in South Africa.

Sympathy rose

I matted lilac cardstock on curious metal purple card base. Topped that with curious metal silver ice cardstock embossed with Spellbinders A4 embossing folder (debossed side up). The white motif is Spellbinders Parisian motifs, with the centre cut out with a round Simply-2-die-4 die. A lilac circle using the same Simply-2-die-4 circle was placed in the centre. Finished off with lilac organza bow and paper rose.
