Red flowers for Christmas

This week's challenge at Christmas stampin' all year long is 'Anything goes. This is my second post relating to this challenge.
I inked a Sizzix embossing folder with green distress ink from Ranger before running through my Spellbinders Grand calibur. The window was cut from plain white cardstock with my Cricut Expression cuttimg machine and then heat-embossed in silver.
The red flowers and the leaves were made using Punchbunch punches.

Metallic Christmas tree trio

This week's challenge at Christmas stampin' all year long is 'Anything goes.

My first card was made stamping the tree trio in Versamark watermark ink on skin mocha cardstock. I then scattered copper, gold and silver embossing powder over the ink, in diagonal lines before heat setting the embossing powder. A circle die from Simply2die4 was used to cut the embossed image and the gold matting, all placed on curious metal silver ice  card stock.

Tilted message

This card was inspired by a     Papertrey Ink blog hop  challenge for a tilted design.

I used a Spellbinder dies for the corners, die cut in a lovely cerise paper.
The butterflies were stamped onto vellum in Versamark watermark ink, then embossed with white embossing powder and cut out by hand.

Hat card for Mothers' day

Linda Duke's absolutely stunning hat cards were the inspiration for my card for my mother for Mothers' day in May. Linda kindly shares a link for the template.

The 'brim' of the hat folds down to open for space to write/stamp your message.
I used Spellbinders M-Bossibilities reversible embossing folder, Garden lattice, for the top and used a velcro dot to keep the card closed.
A handbag (same as those in a previous post) decorated with the same flowers as the hat will hold the gift.

Mothers day window

The main feature is made die-cutting Spellbinders' Window Two.

For the curtain I used a Martha Steward border die. Silver-grey vellum was placed behind the window to make the window and curtain stand out. Finished off with a pretty dotted satin ribbon.

Handbags for Mothers' day

Silk flowers and organza ribbons make such beautiful embellishments for these handbag gift bags. The handbags were inspired by a design from Cre8ive Cutz . The texture was created using Spellbinders M-Bossibilities Reversible embossing folder Garden Lattice purchased from my South African supplier. I used a Simply2die4 die to make a flap for closing the handbag. A veclro dot ensures easy opening and closing.

Lifestyle letterpress background and birthday sentiment

Used Lifestyle Letterpress background with silver letterpress ink. The sentiment was done using a Letterpress sentiment and the label was cut out using Spellbinders Fancy tags two.

I just love making these pretty gift bag/boxes using the cut file I purchased from Cre8ive Cutz. I resized all components so that the base is 12x12cm. I alter the cupcake box by leaving out the insert that is supposed to hold 4 cupcakes. The recipients are always delighted and barely want to open the gifts.

For this one, I used Spellbinders M-Bossibilities garden lattice embossing folder for a beautiful embossed effect on the front and back panels. The flap that closes the handbag was cut with a die from Simply 2die4. A magnetic closure or velcro dots are used for opening and closing the bag.
